We now have a loveseat and chair! WOO! Now I just have to buy a bed, a desk, sheets, plates, lamps, bathroom fixtures, storage stuff...oh god I'm going to stop listing things before I kill myself over the expense of new apartment items.
Now, this particular set is nothing like what I had in mind. I wanted a sleeper or a futon, preferably with armrests. Otherwise, I'd probably fall off the damn thing all the time. Erin and I had even found a good deal on a slepper/loveseat the day before. We still needed a chair, so Carole recommended we buy the one in the ad at World Market. I must say, meeting the loveseat was love at first sight. Sorry for the puns. It was SO comfortable...the couch cushion just kind of swallows you up in a squishy hug. The chair was just as comfy, so all I needed was to convince Erin to switch her opinion to it. "Sit! Lay! Enjoy it!"
She was convinced...not by me of course, but the awesomeness of said furniture.
We might stick with the ad theme, and go with red cushions and such. Erin was so kind to point out after years of hating Red & Khaki because of my Target experience, it was ironic that our living room will be an accidental homage to it. Oh well, at least I'll be comfy.
