What an awesome, low-key Spring Break this has been. Well, I might be mildly influenced by the furniture I bought this weekend. It seems like a lot happened, even though I actually accomplished very little.
On Sunday, Alias kicked ass for the first time all season. Ricky Gervais from The Office guest-starred and it was brilliant. It was such a great episode I even did my patented Alias dance. I missed you, Alias!
I briefly went home to Dallas and pretty much spent the time shopping, sleeping, or visitng family. I bought a couch and a mini-skirt. A first for me with each item. The skirt had sakura blossoms...how could I resist?
I also bought the Most Awesome Clearanced Item Ever from K.B. Toys. It's a stuffed shark from Sea World that says silly shark facts in a melodramtic voice. "I have NO bones! My skeleton is made of CAR-til-AGE!" It's so ridiculous my sister used it to make her new answering machine message.
So...food and rampant consumerism. I almost forgot that I have a paper due next week. Damn, I hate crashing back into reality.
Oh, and for anyone who cares, I revised my hate-list. The topic of "soulmates" has leap-frogged over my dislike of Andrew McCarthy and Fruit Loops to be my top vendetta. Yeah, I'm cynical...what of it?
